An Unwanted Vacation (RP)

Amber: *grabs the beak before it drills into her* Nice try. *drives her free wrist into the chicken's gut*

Golden Chicken: !!! *Hacks up some leftover energy all over Amber and stumbles back.* Baaaaawwwwk....*His bright energy starts to fade away.*.....*Jumps into the air and goes for one more nosedive.* BAWWWWWK!! 

Springs: *Runs for it.* 

Golden Chicken: *Right before he reaches Amber, the rest of his light energy vanishes.* !?!

Amber: ?! What's going on?

Golden Chicken: *Lets out an agonized cry as his entire body molts.*

After the Golden Chicken's body has completely molted, a human body is revealed. The body falls down onto the ground with a loud thud, right in front of Amber.*

Springs: REEEEEEE!! *Dashes towards the body....*

Amber: He was...human?

young Man: *Groans and slowly opens his eyes. His vision is blurry, so he can't quite make out Amber.* Th....thank you...*Struggles to sit up, but grunts in pain.* Sorry to ask but...can you give me a hand? Before I conveniently faint?

Amber: Uh...sure I guess. *helps the young man up*

Young Man: Thanks....URK!! *Grabs his chest and breathes heavily. His shirt is torn, which gives Amber a clear view of a gross bullet scar on his left pectoral muscle. It is starting to bleed.* Must've....hit me.....pretty hard....*Regains control over his breathing.* I'm so sorry about that....I didn't mean to attack you. I would explain, but I can't right now...*Leans on Springs.* My....my name is Jacob...what's yours?

Amber: It's Amber.

Bianca then comes running up.

Bianca: Next time don't run off like that!

Amber: Sorry Bianca. *rubs her head and chuckles nervously*

Bianca: *looks at Jacob* And who's this guy?

Amber: He's Jacob. He...just tried to kill me.

Bianca: Oh really...

Jacob: Pleased to meet you....*Smiles.* I promise, once I recuperate, I'll explain myself...for now...

?: There you are!!

*It's Bertha and Gerald.*

Gerald: We heard a loud noise and feared the worse. *Notices Jacob's condition and is quick to point his gun at Amber and Bianca.* What happened here?!

Jacob: *Holds his hand up and shakes his head.* Don't you point that gun at them. This girl...Amber....she practically saved my life without knowing it.

Bertha: Gerald, put that gun down. It's obvious a lot has just happened here and going gun-ho is not the correct course of action. We have to head back to the village. *Looks at Amber and Bianca.*....Let me guess, did a rift in the sky suck you up?

Amber: I guess that's what happened.

Bianca: She means yes.

Bertha: Then let's get going...I'm sure this is all very confusing, but the village leader will explain as much as he can to you two.

Jacob: *He slowly gets on Springs so he may carry him.*

All of them reach the village. A bearded man with rusty red armour stands amongst a group of civilians with a bulky spear.

Bearded Man: You have returned with the healer! In addition to two more individuals....Were they victims of the "Rift?"

Bertha: That they were, sir.

Bearded Man: Mmmm...very well then. I will speak to them personally in my house. This way.

The bearded man takes Amber, Bianca and Jacob to his home. Upon entering, he puts his spear down and sits at a small round table in his living room.

Bearded Man: Please, sit. Now...the three of you must be wondering the where, the how and the why.

Amber: I guess that's a start.

Bearded Man: Well then....to begin with, the three of you are now in a world known as Xenu. I'm sorry to say, but you are here for good. You have this man to thank.

He turns on a projector, which displays an image of Edgar. In this image, he is holding a white flag, with the pole stabbed into a man's head. On the other hand, he is holding a knife to a crying woman. All whilst grinning.

Amber: Stuck here?

Bianca: For good?!

Bearded Man: Unfortunately, yes. Thanks to Edgar, here. Ten years ago, this bastard took control of a Research and Development organization and forced his new employees to work extensively on newer technologies. At first, they were very minor things like weapons. But....after gathering a private army and new scientists, he started to develop something new. The project would be called "Dimensionalization." You see, he wants to make himself out to be a "business man."

He grunts at the sight of the projection and shuts it off.

Bearded Man: He was obsessed with the notion of taking things from other places around Xenu and bringing it to him. So when he grew bored of robbing this world of its resources, he resorted to project "Dimensionalization," which would allow him to take things from other dimensions, hence the name. The machine many of his scientists died to construct was given the name, "Dimensional Rift Machine." It would take nine years before that machine was fully completed. During that time, Edgar attracted more recruits for his private army to raise more hell across Xenu. Now that his accursed machine has been completed, he has been stealing things from other dimensions for the past year. Which, of course, included you three. Others have come before you, but Edgar's crew have taken them before my scouts could save them. Who knows what kind of horrors awaited those who were captured...

Amber: That bastard...

Bearded Man: In addition to people, he also took some powerful artifacts and even animals that now either roam around Xenu, or are experimented by Edgar.

At that moment, Gerald walks in.

Gerald: During that decade, many factions formed across Xenu, all of them with the intent to take Edgar down. Recently, representatives held a secret meeting away from Edgar's eyes to form one single rebellious army. We've had scouts placed around the DRM to save those who've been captured and....convince them to aid us. We need to swell our ranks, which is why I ask the three of you....will you help us?

Amber: Of course we'll help. Right Bianca?

Bianca: Yeah.

Jacob: Count me in too. There isn't even a choice in the matter.

Gerald: Thank you, we appreciate it a lot. I'll be sure to find vacant homes for you three to stay in as thanks.

Amber: Uh...this may seem like a little late to mention, but we...ran into some of that guy's solders on the way here.

Gerald: Really? Well, no surprise there....but the real surprise is you two girls escaping with your lives. They tried to take you away, correct?

Amber: No...more like try to kill us.

Bianca: Meh...the keyword is "try."

Gerald: That's another surprise...normally they just capture for experiments. But for you two to take them out, that is really impressive.

Jacob: *Smiles.* Never underestimate anyone...as I just relearned through a pretty mean punch.

Amber: *smiles and cracks her knuckles*
