An Unwanted Vacation (RP)

Amber: *walks off toward Seth's building*

All of them head back to Seth's building. Upon reaching his floor, they find the whole office coloured in blood. Seth's mangled corpse is on his chair, with a note planted on his forehead.

Amber: Something tells me that fight we just did was just a distraction.

Curien: Son of a bitch....*Takes the note and reads it.*

Thank you for allowing me to test out my newest experiment. Whilst you were off dealing with Edgar's most recent "doormat," I took the liberty of slaughtering this pathetic specimen. Both you and Edgar can thank me later.

I've also been able to closely observe the red head and yellow eyes. I must say, I've learned a lot from them. I hope to see them real, real soon...

Amber: It must be who that spy robot belonged to.

Curien: Must be....the only question is, where is this mystery man?

?: E-excuse me...I-I think I can help you out...

Amber: Hmm? *turns around*

It's a boy around ten years old. He is wearing bandages on his arm and leg.

Boy: There's a place on this beach that Seth feared....when questioned about it, he would always change the subject....I-I think it may be connected to whatever killed him....

Amber: And where exactly would this place be?

Boy: I'll take you there...I want to leave this place anyway....

Amber: Thank you.

They leave Kennebec and follow the boy around the beach. Ten minutes later, the boy stops.

Boy: Its around here that I saw it....

Jacob: Saw what?

Boy: Bright lights....there is something underneath the water, but Seth never sent anyone to check it out....I'm too scared to go there myself....

Curien: You've done a fine job, son. *Pats his head.*

Amber: So...any ideas on how to get down?

Curien: None so far....we could head back to Kennebec to look for something we can use to go under. I'm sure not all of it was destroyed. Besides, I think we all need a rest before we head down there.

Amber: ...*starts undressing herself*

Bianca: Not going to wait?

Amber: Nope.

Jacob: Good point. If we just wait around, who knows what will happen.

Curien: Can you handle being underwater for a long period of time? Who knows how deep the water is.

Amber: *makes a solid orb out of energy around her head*

Jacob: Hah, what can't you do?

Curien: In that case, I guess you won't be needing this. *Holds up a mask with a gas tank strapped to it.*

Jacob: I'll need it.

Curien: Not in your condition, boy. I don't see how you can swim with one arm.

Jacob: I think I can manage just fine. One of the clubs I was in back in my home dimension was swimming.

Curien: Not sure if I should call you brave, reckless, or just plain stupid. But here. *Hands it over.*

Jacob: All of the above. *Takes it.*

Amber: Sorry, but I'm going alone this time. You need to rest.

Jacob: !....

Curien: That certainly changed your expression.

Jacob: But...I can't just leave you to go by yourself. That'll leave me an ill feeling...

Curien: No debates, Jacob. You've done more than enough for today. Besides, Amber is a tough gal.

Amber: *smirks before running into the ocean*

Jacob:....*Sits on the sand and examines his arm.*

Curien: Hah, you're concerned.

Bianca: Hand me the gas mask. *is already mostly undressed*

Curien: Sure thing. *Hands it over.* Good luck.
